Earthmover Credit Union was recently ranked 21st in the 100 Best-Performing Credit Unions of 2022 in the United States by S&P Global Market Intelligence. S&P Global Market Intelligence launched this annual list in 2011 to assess the performance of community banks and credit unions. S&P Global Market Intelligence’s annual rankings were calculated using multiple performance metrics.
We believe this is proof positive that Earthmover Credit Union takes our mission of “With every move, a step forward” extremely seriously. The Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL) recently recognized credit unions that go above and beyond the movement’s philosophy of “People Helping People”, improving the lives of their members and communities every day.
The Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL) recently recognized credit unions that go above and beyond the movement’s philosophy of “People Helping People”, improving the lives of their members and communities every day.
Earthmover Credit Union was honored to receive second place in the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service award and was an honorable mention recipient of the Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award.
The Dora Maxwell award recognizes the work credit unions do to strengthen the structure of the local community and materially improve the lives of non-members through support of nonprofits and outreach programs (other than personal finance education). The Louise Herring award is given to a credit union for its practical application of the credit union philosophy within its internal organization.
In 2022, we donated $20,000 to 19 local nonprofit organizations through wish-list purchases and sponsorships as part of our Community Giveback campaign. Our member referral program rewards members for being ambassadors for the credit union and sharing our mission of financial empowerment.
We love being a part of the communities we serve, and we believe it shows.

With so many phone and email scams going on these days, we thought we should take a moment to remind you that we will never contact you in any way requesting your personal or account information.
If you receive a call or email from anyone claiming to be from Earthmover Credit Union and they ask you to release your personal or account information, do not respond. If you have any doubt whatsoever about the request being made, close the email or hang up the phone and call us to verify whether we were trying to reach you.
If you believe you have already provided personal or account information to someone who may be trying to use what you provided for fraudulent purposes, contact us immediately at 630.844.4950 so we can make adjustments to keep your account(s) safe.

The 38th Annual Montgomery Fest will be held at Montgomery Park located at 301 N. River Street in Downtown Montgomery, Friday, August 18 through Sunday, August 20. The event is staged along the banks of the Fox River in the Historic Mill District. It will feature a parade, a car show, a beer tent for visitors 21 and older, a carp fishing derby, food vendors and more. Don’t miss the fireworks on Sunday night as the festival comes to a spectacular finish. For additional information, visit the festival’s website.
On Saturday, September 23, we’ll be holding a Community Shred Event from 9:00 a.m. to noon at 10 Civic Center Drive in Montgomery. So, clean out your home office files, bring us your unwanted documents that contain personal information and watch as these documents are safely and securely shredded.
